I first heard the Jeff Samuel Faded mix of this track, and could not get enough. The track is super deep with an amazing sample that rings "faded... faded... faded..." through my mind hours after listening.  It gave me that feeling of not wanting to share it, because it was special. Then I remembered that I love sharing good music, and this is too good not to share. The builds and breaks are throttled perfectly, not overly dramatic yet extremely interesting and resonant.

Then I heard the original again for the first time. To my surprise I had a copy on my computer that's over a year old, but I suppose it wasn't until the Jeff Samuel remix did I think to give it the time of day. The song is delicate and vulnerable. I love how the song yields the illusion of being stripped down and simple at first, until you notice how many instruments are poking their heads out. Normally each post is one song, but there's always an exception to the rule, and this song is an exception. Enjoy!
