The second single off of Tegan and Sara's latest is I Was A Fool, if you haven't heard it I'm pretty sure you will. Matthew Dear puts a dark and bass heavy twist on this heartfelt ballad by my favorite indie rocker twins (no really, I'm an enormous T&S fan if you didn't already know). I admire what Matthew Dear did with this song, in fact the remix could easily replace the original in the amazing official lyric video (Drive movie intro anyone?) from an overall tone perspective.
